| In Hokkaido, the Onneyu hot spring has been known as one of the most traditional hot spring resorts for a long time. The name, Onneyu, is Ainu in origin. The Ainu used to call Onneyu "On- Ne-Yu" that means that it is a big hot spring. Onneyu has made all visitors recover from the fatigue of their journey for nearly 100 years since the first hot spring was found in the year 32 of the Meiji era.

| Kamurin The Kamurin is the tower built as the symbol of the 24th rest area, "Mitinoeki−The Onneyu hot spring."The tower is 19.8 m high and is the highest cuckoo clock in the world. Please come to Onneyu to see the world's highest cuckoo clock.
